Edwin has wide international experience as an Olympic athlete, coach, and manager. He competed in two Summer Olympics as a player for the Dutch national volleyball team and won an Olympic silver medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. After a stellar international career as a volleyball player, Edwin also became a successful coach at the international and national level. Moreover, he led the Dutch national volleyball team as head coach and served at club level in many countries around the world.
Edwin also had a long successful career as a coach, but also as a manager of the Dutch Volleyball Federation, the Liechtenstein Volleyball Federation, and the European Volleyball Federation. As a result, he has applied his extensive sport and management experience as a manager, consultant, coach, key-note speaker for many international companies. Edwin specializes in the areas of self-leadership, mental resilience, leadership, team development, mental coaching, talent development, performance.
